Last practice before Lowender Peran

Today we had our last practice before we perform at Cornwall’s inter-Celtic festival, Lowender Peran. All of our dancers and musicians took part and we practised our 15 minute set many times.

We worked through the introductions to each dance, and the dancers worked out the small but important details such as how we leave the stage. The musicians played again and again, getting the introductions and instrument changes smoothed out.

As a group, events like this can make us feel more tight and together. That’s definitely the case for us! It’s hard work but great fun. We can’t wait to get on the stage at Lowender Peran.

The next posts to our blog will be from the event itself. Wish us luck!
